For those without an iPhone, go to [girlscoutcookies.org] and on the right hand side is a place to put in your zip and get a list of the nearby cookie booths.

Duke here (OH) let me tell 'em how many free CFLs I wanted (didn't have to be right after moving either, just for being a customer) with a max of 16. Nicely, I wasn't even charged shipping for it :)

Progress bars are fine if they are used for progress. I have seen where some designer figured they'd be better acting more like the hourglass (fills up, empties, fills up again, etc) without a rhyme or reason (or an explanation).

Awesome tweak, thanks! I will say that 38 pixels seems to be about the perfect height for my Droid running stock Froyo.

My first thought was the one CSI episode where they found a dead body in a hoarder's house (not the hoarder though).

If the resident hasn't been seen for awhile and the house is that packed... my first thought is that with that much stuff (and the accompanying smells), a dead body would probably not be missed that much.

I'd hope the police would tell you what to do (ie: stay on whatever road, drive sanely, wait for them to get to you).

Simplenote for lists (including grocery and various errands) and basically stuff that tends to be short-term notes. I use Pinboard for bookmarks (or Pinterest

I've actually ditched it, but there's the few couple of times where its handy to go in and grab something out of there. However, I'm also mildly OCD about the number of icons in my system tray, so this puts me in a quandry.

You might try a used book store (Half-Price Books might be a good spot to check). I don't know if they offer reasonable prices (especially since they're going to want to mark up for sale themselves), but some money's better than no money.

Does anyone know of a skin for Rainmeter that can handle multiple Google calendars? Preferably not as a month view, but more agenda view.

I frequently use the seatbelt for my front passenger seat, especially if items are heavy enough to set off my airbang sensor.

Along with this, Holmes on Homes (his first show), has some episodes that show things an inspector should have caught (though most of the focus is on bad contractors).

Mix it with chopped eggs to make green egg salad.

Its a decent replacement for some of the mayo in making egg salad.
