The response from George Harrison’s estate is still my favorite.

I will never understand the thought process among executives that goes: “hey, that company found a new market and dominates it. If we come up with a product that does the same thing, but somehow shittier, we’ll manage to capture that exact same market share, right?”
Glad to see this - he elevates everything he touches. A classic example of a guy who (at least in the West) is a “character actor” who absolutely deserves to be way more than that.
If I had more free time tonight, I’d say something in depth about how I connect with this movie differently after I realized I was autistic, since the titular character is certainly coded that way as well. Perhaps another time.
If Sega is rereleasing and remastering old games, they’d better fucking get around to Skies of Arcadia soon.
The whole franchise honestly baffles me. I’ve seen the films; my take has been that they’re aggressively fine. Neither bad nor good enough to make me have strong opinions, but pleasant enough if you want to watch the pretty pictures while munching on popcorn for a few hours. However - on the one hand, there seems to…
Welp, goodbye any chance of me getting to participate in Xenoblade Chronicles X multiplayer events again.
Still hoping for a Switch (/Switch 2?) port that will never come.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
The salient difference is that public libraries are, well, public. Things aren’t getting pulled permanently for tax write-offs, and you aren’t generally told that another library now the rights to the book so you need to subscribe to another library to be able to ever read it again.
I’m still not comfortable on not owning CDs or DVDs either. If there’s something I know I’ll want to still be able to hear or watch in 20 years, I buy the physical media. I didn’t trust the streaming services before the recent cuts, and now I think trusting them is just foolish.
And alex jones, unfortunately.
No shortage of great examples of those. (See also: Creedence Clearwater Revival)
My favorite shutdown was a primarily non-political artist - when the former occupant used “Here Comes the Sun,” George Harrison’s estate said to stop using the song, but that they might have considered it if they’d asked to use “Beware of…
I mean, who could forget his role in the era-defining masterpiece Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire? Obviously that was his ticket to superstardom.
After you learn to read.
Except I did give my opinions? I only mentioned underperformance for The Marvels, but for the others I also said whether they were good or not in my estimation. Genuinely no idea what you’re talking about.
You do realize that there is a middle ground between “everything Marvel does is amazing” and “there’s some superhero fatigue so everything Marvel makes is an unsalvageable mess,” right? Yes, recently some things have been underwhelming (Quantumania, Secret Invasion), and some have underperformed (The Marvels), but…
The bastard would probably find some way to turn the tub into a tax write-off.
Agreed. If you’re going to use Doom (and it’ll definitely happen eventually), to do him properly you need real buildup, and there’s just not enough time unless they delay the next two Avengers films. (Which wouldn’t be the worst idea regardless, but that’s another story). There are other villains, though I think the…
So is finally going to either recast Kang or switch to a new villain now, right?
...right?
