True, but it takes a lot longer to ride a bus from New York to LA, and sometimes you have to get home for the holidays (or for a sick relative, etc.). A Disney trip is a luxury, not a need.

Whether or not they are correct insofar as the bots may have broken the system, the reality is that ticketmaster is awful and their fees are absurd, AND bots are a major problem. Both have to be addressed for this to not be an ongoing thing.
I’ve done the same. It’s always fun to be in the car and feel like you’re just hanging out with Tom while he plays you a bunch of random music that somehow happens to be great, and forget for a while that he’s gone.
Look, I’m forward-thinking - I accept that people like her didn’t choose to celebrate christmas, and that they were just born that way. What I don’t understand is why they just have to be so flamboyant about it. Like, can’t you do your christmas stuff behind closed doors, and not throw it in all of our faces? I’m…
One cannot, and should not, judge people based on Con panels. However, I did get to see both of them do (separate) Q&As at the same convention last year, and the contrast could not have been clearer. Takei was gracious (even when some lunkheaded guy asked about the Shatner feud), engaging, and generally delightful. He…
There’s no chance they will, but I don’t blame people for rooting for it. Both of them got screwed out of another movie by the studio forcing their directors to make overstuffed, borderline-nonsensical films, and they each have their loyalists who keep hoping they’ll see some dangling story threads resolved. (I gave…
CNN has been my go-to New Year’s broadcast for the last few years for precisely two reasons: first, the major network broadcasts are soul-annihilatingly stupid and annoying, and second, I want to see Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon get shitfaced. Why would they take that away from me? WHY, CNN?!?
That said, I see…
Hey, not all of us law-talking guys are that bad. (Though the lawyer in this case makes Hutz look like Clarence Darrow.)
“Throughout the pandemic”
This was on Comedy Central last night. I do not know why.
Punitive damages are also intended to act as a disincentive to people committing the act in the future. (In some instances that’s supposed to be the primary reason, though more often it is in fact intended to be punitive.)
And Chapter 3.
That wouldn’t have worked. I mean, who can imagine OJ Simpson as a violent guy, let alone a remorseless killer?
Slab Bulkhead!
If anyone here doesn’t know Tom Lehrer, take this opportunity to listen. You’re welcome in advance. One of the best musical satirists of all time.
James Hong is a goddamn national treasure.
I agree, except that some of those people will still be able to do real-world harmful shit like doxxing. And voting. So even as someone who actively avoids twitter, I am still worried he’s going to make it somehow even less moderated.
This is so awful it makes me want to continue never using twitter at all.
I feel like this is a fantastic unintentional self-own.
At least we still have Amber Ruffin. That said, if I didn’t get Peacock for free through my cable subscription, I probably wouldn’t be getting it all.
