I'm certainly going to enjoy re watching the season knowing he's going to get that level of maturity and the writers remembered that monarchy is ridiculously outdated

I loved this finale, I really did, but…. it felt like the whole creative team was on its toes making it and the rest of the season. Nickelodeon hit them hard with the budget cuts and schedule change and you can feel it. The good thing is they made more with less, the bad news is Bumi suddenly became voiceless along

The truth is no one has the answers. Foreign intervention has never been successful whether they came with guns or farming technology. We just can't plan out a society or economy, we don't have the foresight or the resources.

Do you remember the time we contemplated invading Japan? Do you remember the time we scrapped that idea because we knew the civilian population would either kill themselves fighting or just plain kill themselves rather than surrender because they had been told for a few years that our GIs would rape and enslave them?

And who is to say the state of North Korea, the anemic, ill-equipped, uneducated, poor state that it is, would be capable of hacking a system with enterprise-level security measures?

OK, so after all that loss of life and destruction, how do you integrate 30 million uneducated, unskilled, malnourished people into an already struggling nation wracked with debt and bursting at the seams?

Oh yes right, I forgot they're capable of hacking computers with very little security measures. Their fearsome army is almost as capable as Anonymous!!!

What can we do about it, short of launching a full-scale invasion? When has any foreign military involvement actually benefited the native people?
And if we have an obligation to fight this one dictatorship, does that mean our obligation extends to the others?

A huge incompetent, malnourished army with outdated equipment that can't possibly reach us…………Terrifying!!

Wonderful! Yet another event our grandchildren will laugh at us for!!

I would have agreed with you, but they revealed Unalaq's deception pretty early on. If we haven't gotten confirmation by this point, I doubt its coming

I agree with what you're saying. I was just contrasting Zaheer's relationship with Kuvira's. A lot of Zaheer's detractors say he was using P'Li just like that war lord was using her, but their relationship is obviously more complex, and she was genuinely devoted to him and his cause. Technically he was using all of

I hated her methods since the first episode. The whole dictator taking over provinces and then taxing the shit out of them was obviously evil, too. Then the slave labor and re-education camp reveal… etc, etc… Obviously evil.

Yeah, Bataar is pretty well rounded by this point, but we haven't seen any hint of intimacy between them before now, besides holding hands. It always felt like she was just using him. Even though Zaheer WAS using P'Li, he obviously cared about her and probably would have sacrificed himself to save her.

It never felt like it on her end. Her character motivation felt so unclear, not only was her relationship suspect, but also her involvement with the bandits in the first episodes. With the finale so close, its unlikely they'll drop such a big reveal as that she used the bandits to create chaos.

I never actually believed their relationship was real, so Kuvira's betrayal wasn't surprising. Zaheer's relationship felt much more genuine and powerful.

Exactly! Except Sasha Alexander's character died her hair and no longer has a hole in her head

That guy needs to get off the drugs and/or stop being an asshole! He should be more famous, he's got the talent.

I was nine when TPM came out and I had to get it on video so I could fast forward through all the bland shitty acting. I like the Star Wars elements as a kid but the prequels always felt like a bad stage play between the action pieces.
Now that I'm older I can't even watch the action because its just as bland. That

Except with this Avatar, the writing won't be 8th on the list of priorities…
