Trump’s plan is about what you would expect from someone who went bankrupt running a casino.

If only there were some sort of way for us as Americans to negotiate directly with the Pharmaceutical companies. Not undercut each other. Band together, as some sort of singular payer.
I will not yield. Not one second. Not one second.
Shouldn’t he be flattered that she found him attractive?
The reveal for Lorna was so good. She was really scary, too.
Mental health intervention is tricky.
Cops are reliably bad at mental health interventions. We’re trying to reduce the number of mentally distressed people they injure/kill on mental health checks before we expand that particular portfolio.
Yes, it’s like asking, “Do I drink too much?” Then watching an episode of Intervention where a woman drinks an entire 12 pack of Bud Light on the morning bus ride to work and then saying, “No, I don’t drink too much.”
Exactly. I was a kid too but old enough to know what happened and to understand the jokes - but not the political and cultural implications. The fact that she didn’t get plastic surgery and go hide in a foreign country is amazing.
“Gina Brashears, the woman Trump has picked to oversee food safety for the Department of Agriculture, is a fun lovin’ gal with close ties to Big Ag and testified in court that “pink slime” is totally delish.”
Monica Lewinsky deserves a huge apology from the world. I cannot imagine what she endured and to continue to face fallout (even as simple as being excluded from an event) is infuriating.
Yeah doing 1500 burpees as they’re generally understood would be about twice as insane as her already impressive feat.
Agreed, dangerkitten. Those are not burpees. I don’t even *do* burpees and I could see that right away. I also agree that the issue lies with the Guinness organization for so loosely defining the term for record-setting purposes.
I agree, and I shouldn’t have used the word “slide,” because what she did was tough, and I don’t mean to take away from that. I don’t fault the woman for following the rules, just Guinness and their irritating criteria. But what this person executed is probably cakewalk compared to 1500 “real” burpees in an hour.
Having watched the video, and having executed probably thousands of burpees over the years, fully standing upright, jumping, and having to lift your body off of the ground all make a huge difference in the difficulty of the exercise. For those who are unfamiliar, I suggest trying to do a few “true” burpees quickly…
I think some people (like me) are annoyed because completing even 15 burpees quickly is not an easy feat, even for those of us who are fairly fit. The exercise was designed to maximally utilize your muscles, making it an effective and excruciating full-body workout. For somebody to slide into a world record on a…
But seriously, that’s not a burpee.
I hate this guy. He is a menace and should be in jail.
