A company couldn’t bill its customers and they’re greedy and evil because they should have just given away everything for free instead? What?

This post paints a really bad picture without full understanding of how IT infrastructure works. When the good folks down in IT see an activity spike and files start becoming encrypted, they shut everything off in order to isolate the threat. It’s kind of like closing fire doors. Anyone who worked in the business knows some stone age sales manager is behind that. The same ones who tell customers a sold car is still available and hide the keys to your trade in, apparently thinking you’ll change your mind if you are treated like shit.

This is ridiculous. I’ve been in the business since 2003, and transparency is key to establishing trust. About half of our new and used sales stems from E-commerce. 

Seriously....when I was talking with this salesperson it felt like he was performaing a script drilled into him by some slimy manager.
