So they purposely are making a shitty joker just so harley can come off as a strong character?? which is nuts cause she’s already the best female character in the series, yes joker manipulates her but joker never really goes for her in any other way then messing with her.

Came to say this exact thing. Doesn’t sound anything like ANY Joker, even the more truly psychotic versions. It sounds like they just wanted an excuse to have Harley been the Strong Female Character.

I was thinking the exact same thing. With Harley’s evolution as a character over the past decade or so I can see why she would hate The Joker now. But the way they write Joker in this, even at her most love-struck and dimwitted, there’s no point in Harley’s character history where this guy would have given her any…

This Joker seems less like the Joker and more like some fetish-ized abusive ex-boyfriend setup so the main character can show how strong she is now.

Okay... I’m not a regular reader of these, so someone do feel free to explain this to me.
