Yeah. I was investigating building a plane back in a happier time, and realized that the engine cost as much as the rest. $80k where I live, for an air-cooled pushrod thing.

It is kind of odd to get a “Video not available in your region” when I sit in Sweden.
I hunted two GSX-R‘s on my 125 cc dirtbike back in 1988, on a curvy road. They were visibly upset that they could not shake me off.
I long pondered a fake brake parachute on my Camaro. It had a big stupid wing, so it would be proper.
Neat ride!
All my latest seven cars had gone almost exactly 100 000 km (60k miles) when bought, give or take 5% or so.
“only 4.9 percent of vehicle trips had a distance of 31 miles or more.”
This sight is for them who like there car’s. Not for Noble price winner’s.
I know, but think about it:
1 - We don’t like corrugated. I’d much prefer 3 mm of stainless steel to any amount of cleverly folded paper thin painted carbon steel *)
Yeah, it’s stupid marketing speech. But that car is dumbfoundingly gorgeous.
Whatever is > Legal Limit+30 km/h where I live, as that means that you lose your driver’s licence if caught.
Going on inlines to a friend about 15 km away. Inlines broke on the way back, so hitchhiking dressed in socks late at night.
I once rented a flat from a company that had the insanely fabulous idea that parking lots should be surrounded by elm trees (I think).
This is a perfect example of a common trend in industry:
Arrr, I be.
They did call it Fireblade here... :) where I live.
This is extra funny to me because I used to own a Honda CBR 929 RR with the license number RRR 204.
That’s the thing. 100 Nm @ 5000 rpm = 50 Nm @ 10000 rpm powerwise. At the same speed the latter will have twice the gear ratio to the former, so the same power and torque meets the drive wheel.
Torque magnitude is pretty linearly dependent on displacement for naturally aspired engines. You get roughly 100 Nm/L regardless of cam timing - though you can of course get less by making a bad engine.
