Just one fatality in 130 million miles is a better indicator of safety than “public beta.”

Based on Tesla’s data, the autopilot is more successful at not crashing then normal people without it. Tesla may be lying but they are exposed so I doubt they would lie while under risk of increased scrutiny.

Out of curiosity, have you ever driven a semi-autonomous car? I ask because, as a Volvoist I’ve grown pretty used to Intellisafe and PilotAssist in my past couple of cars, and I can say without a doubt that it’s saved my bacon on a few occasions.

It says neither the driver nor the car could detect the trailer. The truck driver was at fault.

I’m more worried about the following:

I’ve driven enough on highways and in NYC itself to be more uncomfortable with everyday drivers. I’d trust this Tesla over 99% of the cab drivers I see everyday.

And yet all data shows that these systems still reduce collisions and reduce the risk of serious injury when there is a collision.

Why? The trailer was at fault, as a bus would be.

The similarity is in the fact that these are instances of reprehensible behavior that exist but are not typical of either camp’s support base, therefore assuming that any given Sanders supporter also supports harassment is like assuming that any given Clinton supporter…

The point is that the Sanders campaign not only tolerates this behavior but quietly encourages it.

Also even if somebody does want a baby, being able to choose the timing (and the father!) is so important. Most women who have abortions already have kids or go on to have them later. It’s not just an issue of not wanting kids.
