If you want to see what “everyone didn’t go see the first movie on the first weekend, but whenever they got around to it, they loved it like the rest of us” looks like, it took ITSV three weeks what ATSV did in three days at the US box office ($120 million).

really astonishing feat to come up with a sequel so strong when the first one was so risky and out there

I still don’t fully believe that Sony are making a Venom solo film. And I’ve seen the sequel...

They’re gonna put him in the classic costume, aren't they? It’s gonna be the worst thing ever. And, somehow, it’s also gonna be the best thing ever.

We all know the real first F-bomb in Star Wars was Maarva’s “Fuck the Empire!” in her posthumous Andor speech, but the Mouse wouldn’t have it.

I literally forgot they had even made an Obi-Wan show, which probably doesn't bode well for a second season.

I watch a lot of TV, man... and Wes is like a singular actor. I honestly can’t think of anyone else who can pull off sociopathic and heartwarming in the same shot as well as him.

Maaaaybe Rory Gilmore.

I really enjoyed the Yuzhaan Vong invasion arc. The EU stories got very repetitive before (and after) that series—a new Imperial warlord here, a lost Sith tribe there—that having a completely unfamiliar threat show up and wreak havoc was a breath of fresh air.

Wes Chatham’s Amos was the best thing in “The Expanse” (and I loved the show), so I’m happy to see him get another decent role.

I’m all for Wes getting more work! Hopefully this could lead to him getting a MCU role.

WESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

“How about now? I’m not doing anything right now.”

Can they just make more Expanse instead of this? Is that an option?

“I’m here to talk to you about the Smash Initiative.”

This makes me happy. Both because I liked this movie (it’s a very charming, fun movie that really is good for kids as well as adult watchers), and because it will really open the door to other Nintendo adaptations if Nintendo is interested.

Just goes to show that all the hullabaloo over the casting of Prattio was completely pointless. Kids don’t care who voices the characters, they just want to see a Mario movie. As long as it’s action packed and full of neat visual effects they will have a great time.

Quick correction to this part of the article: “He had reportedly been arrested for these charges and pleaded guilty to two counts in October of that same year.” He pleaded NOT guilty to the two counts. The current version makes things very confusing.

Yeah going to the movie theater when tickets cost north of 15 bucks each not to mention the cost of concessions it isn’t exactly a value proposition, why should a family pay the guts of 100 bucks for a trip to the movies when there’s literally of thousands of movies to watch on a dozen different streaming services?

Fucking Florida...
