“Many fans are extremely opposed to this change,” but SOME are being assholes and harassing the VA about it. Others are organizing to send feedback to MiHoYo through the in-game feedback channel, and others still are planning to voice their discontent when the 1.3 patch surveys come around.

Both the title and intro

If by ssb3, you mean Brawl, then that base is already covered.

Done and done! For those who can’t wait, the Brawl modding community has got you covered.

A software engineer by the name of Adrian Courrèges has written an impressive breakdown of GTA V’s rendering pipeline. I highly recommend it.

It’s no FFXIV, and you aren’t fighting any titans, but in terms of VRMMOs, Phantasy Star Online 2 has some pretty slick VR mod support going for it. The mod uses a hybrid approach, so you can control either by looking, or turning with the mouse/pad. You can also toggle between first person and third person and switch

After school too...

I doubt it’s anything as complicated as toggling off or on collision layers. It looks to me like it’s just a matter of cancelling the trampoline animation at a point where the character’s pivot bone is below the ground (see Lucas at 1:09).

This guy had a video on his NicoNico account which showcased Naruto vs Ichigo vs Luffy vs Goku. I can’t find it anymore though.

Haha, I guess with Riot modding League characters into Smash and modders modding Smash characters into League, you might say we’ve finally come full circle.

Indeed. Besides combing through script and resource files, debuggers like Cheat Engine are usually the go-to solution for finding unused features in games like this. They’re also responsible a lot of the more technical mods out there that can’t be accomplished through just modifying resources and scripts. For example:

If Nintendo ever gets around to releasing a Pokemon game for the WiiU, they had better release NFC enabled pokeballs to store your pokemon in. Just imagine going over to your friend's house with your belt of 6 pokemon so you can battle with your own personal pokemon team. As it is, I'm surprised that no one has modded

These two have my respect - for both trying to be responsible with their work, but also recognizing that the original concept of hacking is about exploring the possibilities of an existing system. Some days, I wish the term 'hacker' wasn't so synonymous with the term 'cheater' like it has so quickly become as of late.

You need to check out some mods mate.

I've always been fond of how well the Dragon Ball Z roster is represented.

Brawl modding has taken some huge leaps and bounds for a console game. Besides custom skins (which are awesome in their own right), there are tons of awesome custom characters, movesets and stages that individual modders have taken the time to create and polish. It's gotten to a point where there's enough customized

He's right here.

*Ahem* Did someone say Dragon Brawl Z?
