To be fair, it’s not always about cost. Sometimes you just can’t get the service based on your location.
People probably said the same thing about controllers. And touch screens, and golf clubs, and radios, and refrigerators. Shit changes, get used to it.
That’s a pretty narrow minded perspective. No one is holding a gun to your head. You don’t have to buy into it if you don’t want to. It’s just another way to play games. Variety and creativity are good things.
