“If you say it on the street, that’s a knockout / If you put it in a tweet, that’s a cop-out,” Conway sang. “I love that! I mean, that basically is Washington in a nutshell.”

“She’s welcome to her opinion. I can tell you there’s a lot of poison pills in it.”

“She’s welcome to her opinion. I can tell you there’s a lot of poison pills in it.”

Oh, damn.

Seriously. I got so, so tired of her wringing her hands and furrowing her brow, then doing whatever McConnell ordered her to do.

Who also owes big to the mysterious person(s) who paid off his massive consumer debt.

A crybaby sexual assaulter hyper partisan hack who will probably get to write the majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade.

“I get tired of the ‘she speaks but doesn’t act.’”

Haven’t seen, but heard the same things, hence my comment. If she gets re-elected, it will ironically be because of the same kind of “dirty money flooding in from out of state” that she railed against during the Kavanaugh hearings.

As a Maine voter for all but one election, she’s right that we value integrity and independence. However for many of us, she stopped showing anything like that years ago, and the Kavanaugh vote was simply the most egregious example.

Susan Collins only bucks her party in alignment with her constituent wishes, when that

this is politics as a career - after a certain amount of time, they shift from “i was sent here to do what the people told me to do!” to “i know better than the people, i will do what my heart tells me, and theirs would too, if they only believed!”

You zeroed in on the exact thing I saw-how does one vote with “integrity and independence” when ignoring one’s own constituents to vote in lockstep with national party leadership?

Crybaby AND an undoubtedly angry drunk.

She dug her own hole. She markets herself as a “moderate”, yet every single time it comes down to it she gives in to McConnell. The only time she is allowed to let her moderate flag fly is early in the process, when she won’t be the deciding vote or when the result is largely inconsequential. When it is something

Her likely opponent is Sarah Gideon, a statehouse speaker who raised $1 million a week after announcing her candidacy in a race that is expected to be one of the most costly in Maine history.

And that’s not even counting the 4 million raised before a candidate even declared.

Susan Collins voted in a crybaby to the highest court in the land. We won’t forget that.

It’s like if that one really awful aunt of yours made it to Congress. You know, the one who spends Thanksgiving dinner monologuing about “those people” and homosexuals “flaunting” it and how such-and-such cousin should be raising her children differently, and when you call her on her BS, she makes a sour face and compl

Aw. Poor Susan. I’m sad that she carries water for shitsquibs that want to force rape victims to give birth, though, so we can be sad together.

“My actions have consequences?!? But I’m rich and white!”
