Sad, but true. I attempted to re-watch season 3 and found myself fast-forwarding through a lot of the dragged out scenes, pointless characters (what did that useless Steven guy have to do with anything? Who even cares about his pointless scenes beyond his connection to Shelly and Bobby’s daughter?), and boring songs.

Yeah, it does seem like ‘our’ Rick isn’t the norm. He does seem to care about his family to some extent (which the Citadel Ricks seem to consider a weakness or ‘simplicity’), yet he is much more uncaring in regards to the plight of the Citadel (which the Citadel Ricks find important).

So far, I’m actually surprised by how well the translators did with FFVII. I thought it was going to be a mangled mess compared to the Japanese version, but I don’t think much charm has been lost at all (besides some genuine mistakes or things that are so Japanese-specific that the average 10 year old English-speaking

I just hope Pennyhwise has more to do in Part 2, because while I enjoyed the remake, it felt like a heartwarming coming-of-age movie that was occasionally interrupted by a few minutes of weird clown antics.

I miss being able to go through old reviews and read the insightful comments section. Now everything is so blank and bare :( I thought the old comments were going to be ported over, but it looks like that’s not the case.

Was it really such a twist that the president is evil Morty? As soon as a Morty candidate was announced, my brain automatically went to Evil Morty.

I agree to an extent. I certainly don’t think season 3 is the Lynchian “masterpiece” that many fans are proclaiming it to be. I remember reading somewhere that Lynch only wanted the third season to be 8 episodes long, but was later forced (by Showtime, I assume?) to make it longer. If that is true, then it makes a lot
