We have a black one with red roof, and cream interior. I think it was maybe a Germany-only combination available with dark grey or black exterior.

It’s just very sad that even when living in a place where it is purchasable there is a waiting list god knows how long.

Hi Terrell,

Ha, I learned Cape May existed from last week’s episode of ‘the Blacklist’

I guess in the beginning mostly because I love everything mechanical. Meccano boxes were useful for that.

I think it’s uncalled for to mention that Indonesia should solve their poverty issues before sponsoring someone in F1. I have no idea about the ROI on more people traveling to Indonesia after seeing the country mentioned while watching F1. But I’m also not saying the US should solve their poverty issues before

I’m truly excited about what the new VW ‘bus’ will be, if they will really make a new electric Samba I’ll definitely save up to get one.

The C6 looks like it has quite a bit of wear on it, even though the mileage isn’t that high? Still sad I’ll have to sell my C6 soon (because moving).

2nd gear: I think Volkswagen is taking a very European/socialist approach to their problems. Their revenue is basically the GDP of Romania (with a 3% surplus/profit) and a decent chunk of them is owned by German state and federal governments.

I’m just wondering how much car restoration actually costs. So what would you think fixing all of these issues would cost on a car like this? $10000?

To me it looks like they screwed an NB front and back onto an ND Miata. Looks cool though.

Too lazy to do the math, but how does this work out in exchange rate terms? With the USD going up like crazy it could just be an exchange rate adjustment.

A somewhat serious question: I’m thinking of maybe getting a motorcycle license, but the first 2 years you cannot have more than 250cc. What would be a safe starter bike that looks a bit like these and not like a racing monster? And I have no idea if body size matters on bikes, but I’m 1,85m and pretty skinny.

Okay, hold on. Some of the comments state that the fuel economy will get worse when they fix these things. Is the listed fuel economy not gotten from the same test where they measure the emissions?
Also: how can you have more emissions when the fuel economy is better? You’re burning less stuff, so there are less

It depends where in the US as well, I have some developer friends who decided to not move to other European countries (UK/Germany) because they got paid more for the same job in Poland.

[He wants it rung up that way so he just has to pay $3.00 for a drink that really should be around $6.50 if it was rung up correctly as an Iced Quad Venti Vanilla White Mocha with heavy cream instead of milk.]

I’m planning to bike from Orlando to New Orleans in February (when the gulf coast should not be too hot for that sort of activity) and I want to do it in a relaxed way, something like 30 miles a day. And then if I find a nice place that I can take a day there.

Will do, I’ll have to decide if I want to go for ‘gay in the sunshine’ (something like an MX-5) or for something they don’t have in Europe (Ford Flex or an F-150 or similar)

Hnnnnnngg, I never heard of that, going to US for a month next year, saw some sweet rides already. Thanks for the tip :-).

Ehmm, why is there a special tax rate between 411501 and 413200? That seems a bit weird, or is the maximum income in public office 412000 or something?
