Down grading the mask requirements for medical staff to “streamline” the process does nothing except place our medical folks at much greater risk, and their families—placing all of us at greater risk.

I live in Oregon.  Also want to mention that along with having the distinction of the state in the US with the fewest

Respectfully, I think it depends upon the region.

Super excited!  The fact that the trailer shows ScarJo not talking in that awful monotone she is often cast with (Lucy, Ghost in the Shell--and yes, that was hugely problematic for other reasons) is a miracle.

I live in the PNW, 5 hours south of Seattle—we had one a guy from one of the cruise ships who deliberately broke quarantine in Cambodia to fly home—this was after one of the passengers tested positive for coronavirus. It’s entirely possible for people to produce false negatives on the tests, until they get sick—and

Isn’t this effectively a hospital bed for a healthy person?

I’m 51 and want to say that the older a woman gets, the more appearance policing starts to occur. So yes, I started mixing things up outside of visits with friends. I also found following Instagram accounts of people who were already venturing the direction I wanted to experiment with were very helpful.

I’m angry and sad that this poor young man is being subject to such antiquated total racist BS—and I’m grateful those with the means to do so are rallying to help lift him up.

YES! YES! YES!

This is interesting—I’ve read that procrastination is a type of perfectionism, just how more serious levels of declining to clean a house are also based in a type of perfectionism. The idea is that if we can’t “feel” like we are doing it perfect, the feeling is so alarming, we would rather not start at all.

Yes!  The incremental success must include rewards for it to work, even if the reward is sitting down to crack out on the phone or whatnot.

This can be the basis for a “treatment” for those of us who might require light to moderate therapeutic assistance to get back on track with cleaning (which can include self-help). I used a 15 on / 15 off method after I was diagnosed with chronic depression, in concert with an online cleaning support group, which is

I’m an old, a Gen X.  I have to say, I don’t think a movie like this could have been made in my coming of age years.  This looks amazing.

What I find painful about this: we are turning have already turned students of color into a commodity for college sports at predominately white schools, while many historically black colleges are struggling financially. Morehouse, Tuskeegee, Howard, PVAMU, and Spelman might all survive, but the smaller schools

FWIW, the Audible versions are very enjoyable.

Interesting.  I watched Hustlers, and enjoyed it--but I didn’t think it was worthy of best pic.

And depending upon your location, they can legally smoke weed too.

Thank you. I travel for work, and connection flights are almost always working against me. If that’s not the case, I have a different approach, but frankly, I still want to stand because I’ve been sitting for hours and need to get some blood circulation going.

Gen X raised a Zoomer (who is about to be 21).  Frankly, the Zoomers and Millenials give me nothing but hope.  There’s a whole lot of outdated perspectives that simply need to go away.

Hell yes we get to eat popcorn and enjoy. Although I have attempted to help some Boomer friends move past their self-centered wailing and gnashing of teeth. I won’t be making that excuse again.

I would say only the dickish Gen X-ers are being mislabeled as Boomers.
