Why should the residents and city government of DC worry about stuff like this when they have more important matters like covering the expenses of a new stadium for the Nationals over the next 20-30 years?

My biggest complaint is that not all SABR members are stats geeks. Most SABR members are interested in the history of the game and provide valuable info on their history. The best recent examples are the NL and AL Dead Ball Era books (two books of bios on most of the that eras players).
