Tying it to income doesn’t work. Billionaires “make” less income than most people from all the ways to avoid declaring their income as personal income through trusts, companies expenditures, and etc.

That’s why I believe fines should be tied to income. For the uber rich, fines are just the cost of doing business. However, if you change the fines and adjust them with how much they earn, they’ll be singing a different tune. Finland has speeding fines based on income and I’m okay with that. Quit punishing the poor…
Seems like it comes with a lot of standard features to set it apart from the (for all intents and purposes) identically priced Corolla. Which is good, because the Corolla has more power, an available hybrid powertrain, and available AWD.
been working on them for five years, their quality is horrible. between recalls for thermal events and quick fixes with tape and zipties i would never buy or recommend a hyundai/kia product.
In my now-sold Veloster turbo, you would experience similar behavior (limp mode, but no new 30-second death timer), except the car wouldn’t throw a CEL. And if you try bringing your Hyundai in for service, describe the trouble and have no CEL, they keep your car for a day and send you on your way with nothing done.…
C’mon Hyundai/Kia, get it together. Hard to convince my other half to spend $60K on your EV when poo poo like this shows up on the news.
Do the Focus ST or Golf GTI count as performance cars? Because the i30 N is probably more capable than both of them.
They are selling pretty well worldwide, and they have a tons of cuv’s for ‘merica.
I think you mean that N-Line is mostly body kits. Full N stuff is much different mechanically. And why doesn’t Veloster N count as a performance car? Because it’s not RWD? The Veloster N is twice the car the old Genesis Coupe tractor was.
Hyundai doesn’t really have a performance brand to dilute, though. They’re building it right now from scratch, which gives them a lot of freedom to make it what they want.
Now if they could only make it so that you didn’t have to buy or service these at a Kia/Hyundai dealership.
Also manuals are no longer more efficient and offering more than one transmission increases production complexity generally.
Go back and read the article.
That’s because all mid engine cars are kind of “similar” looking. Personally I think it looks like a Ferrari body designed by Lamborghini.
GTI is a small car. They do a great job disguising that, but it’s a small car. This is considerably larger with more room in the back for family.
See, I loved the Mk5! The best the Jetta has looked in my opinion. With each new model since I’ve liked it less and less...
I’ve seen enough in person to not like it in person either...
Nope, I currently have a MK5 Wolfsburg(GLI by a different name) Jetta and find myself liking my current car more so than the new Jetta. The reason I originally like the Mk5 was the fact that is was a smaller sedan, handled great with a decent sway bar, & still had better exterior & interior styling than most american…
Nah, I think it looks puffy and dull
Am I the only person who thinks that the new Jetta doesn’t look very good?
