Um, hi! I'm a woman of faith and agnostic to boot. Educate yourself. You can be religious and atheist, or a non-religious theist, or any combination of the two or somewhere in between.

I agree, though I believe it's really a certain "brand" of evangelical Christians who feel oppressed. I have never met a Catholic, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Quaker, etc try to shove their religion down my throat.

There are plenty of atheist and agnostic UUs, too. So technically, an atheist could benefit from this batshittery, if they are also UU. I can't speak for any other religious groups who welcome atheists and agnostics.

As a UU myself, I say all the religious minorities (Buddhist, Pagan, Jews, Muslims, UUs, United Church of Christ, etc) take this bill (if it becomes law) and RUN WITH IT!! The best way to get a bad law repealed is to enforce it strictly!

Yes. My dad got laid off a couple years ago, after 35 years as a high-ranking person, whose third line manager was the CEO of the multinational corporation he had spent 2/3 of his life working for. Unemployment ran out, and he is "over-qualified" for every job he has applied for.
