The thing with Utah naming has a lot to do with people having large families and lots of the same handful of last names. You don't want your little Ayden Smith to have 3 cousins named Ayden Smith. So instead, we have Aaaydin, Taedyn and StRaedinn Smith.

I went to school with a Brit'Tani. As in Brit (pause) tuh-knee. Don't call her Brittany the normal way. The apostrophe-pause was what made her name unique, Y'KNOW?

Thank you for a thoughtful response. I have chosen to no longer drink with people whom I do not trust implicitly. Always have a wingperson who isn't drinking if I go to a bar. I have alleviated the problem of bad-things-happening-when-drinking by following this simple formula.
