I liked the first episode enough, but the humor in the second was just too relentlessly mean-spirited, and I never watched it again. (It was the torturing of the homeless guy that did it.)

The prisoners didn't have the opportunity to press the button; that was on the other boat, the civilian boat, where the "no one will press this button?" question came up.

On the flip side, the correct— but unused— pronunciation of words drives me crazy too. One is Appalachia. There's a PBS special that goes out of its way to say "appal-AH-chia" every 30 seconds and it drives me into a rage. Yes, that may be the correct way to say it but no one says it like that so shut up and die.
