My daughter’s first cat was very chatty. And he chuffed which was the coolest. He was a Siamese Rag Doll mix but thought he was a tiger. 

Poor Red. I'm glad he's somewhere safe now, with medicine, scritches, and lullabies. 

There is a Maine Rescue about an hour from us. I may have to pay them a visit!

They’re adorable! Those are dog size kitties. My corgi was 28 lbs. I’ve never had a cat, only dogs my whole life. But my daughter has one and I find myself fascinated by her. My hound is also very interested in being friends but they live an hour away so the animals don’t see much of each other. I definitely see one…

Thanks! I think it’s really cute. When I get a cat someday it will be a shelter cat, so it’s not like I’m looking for a breed to buy. But I know so little about cats, and I’m curious about these things.

He loved that little dog, lol. I made him stop feeding her what he called "special breakfasts" on the weekends. Her regular food plus a helping of whatever he was having - eggs, sausage, etc. And I increased the frequency and length of her daily walks, she slimmed back down and lived to be 14. She was a great girl.

No! Keep feeding him, fatten him up like his being raised for foie gras. The sooner he's gone the better.

I used to have a corgi and I was pretty stingy with the treats so she'd stay healthy. My husband snuck her food all the damn time. When the vet said she needed to lose a couple of pounds he very defensively said, she's not fat, she's curvy!"

That ended on a dark note! 😧

I  agree! And we really aren't even friends anymore because she's pretty awful herself. I no longer live near her so I was able to distance myself emotionally without any drama. 

I am including Senators but I’d argue that because they are so few, if you follow politics you know most of them. But this person has bee in the national news several times in the past couple of years.
