I, like Drew Magary, have an aversion to mayo. But tomato and basil with a little oil and vinegar is delicious.

I was also inspired by Harriet to eat tomato sandwiches. But since I hate mayo I substituted little butter spread thin on the bread. As an adult I prefer tahini or even a little oil and vinegar. I desperately wanted egg creams too but didn’t live in NYC so I drank chocolate milk and pretended.

I’ve had Wilde’s Chicken Chips and they’re pretty tasty. They don’t have the chewy texture or meaty appearance of jerky.

It’s classic abuser talk. Like my ex who just loved me so much!

Thanks, I was at a bad point in my life. I was drinking heavily, doing insane amounts of drugs. And was in an on-again off-again abusive relationship myself. My heart ached for her but I also saw my future in Joanne. It didn’t change me overnight, but it did start me thinking about how screwed up my own life was. 

Thank you. It was sort of a defining moment for me. It was probably my first exposure to cruelty but I knew I wanted no part of it. I don't know what became of her. I hope she grew up happy and strong.
