I couldn't stand the smell of meat cooking for the first few months. Mr P had to cook and eat it outside, lol.

I craved tomatoes. I ate them with eggs for breakfast, sandwiches for dinner and lunch,like apples for snacks. I could not get enough! Enjoy your hard cheeses. Get a variety to make up for missing the brie. 😊

When I was a kid my mother made homemade fortune cookies for my dad. She was pissed at him so the fortunes said things like “You’re an asshole”, and “kiss my ass”.  She'd toss a couple in his lunch every day.

Grated Romano cheese in soup. Any soup - chicken, beef, clam chowder. First time I ate soup at a friend’s house and asked where the cheese was, they looked at me like I was nuts. I still use it but now add hot sauce too.

I was sitting in a bar day drinking with friends. I was under age and we were loud, obviously drunk. The bartender brings me a beer and says its from the guy at the end of the bar. I look, hoping to see a cute guy, it was my dad! He finished his beer and left. Never said a word.

Swimming class was awful. You’d stink of chlorine the rest of the day even after a shower. 

When my daughter was in MS they made them run laps and then go back to class without showering. For many 11, 12 and 13 year olds perspiration odor was a new and embarrassing thing. So right in the middle of puberty they made them more ashamed of the change they were experiencing. They also weighed them and did a BMI…
