Easy solution: If you bring a patent, you got 1 year to make a product based on it. No product? Your once patented idea is now public domain.

Thanks for the info!

I was wondering whether those who got around to actually ordering one got it by now. I would love to see the stats: How many did they have available, how many orders went through and how many phones actually were shipped?

"[T]rolling is incessant, as is antisemitism." That's the main point, isn't it? Who cares whether it's the IDF or a mom and pop store as long as there's an excuse to "get back" to "the" jews.

Eric, if Dadich was a major proponent of tablet based magazines, do you have any more insight into why there's no way to read Wired on Android tablets? Is this a decision made by Condé Nast?

We'll update you with official specs once we have them.

Here's what's living inside my belly button.

A VC for biotech projects once told me that he's glad there are a lot of start-ups out there that fail. Because otherwise, it would be a sign of an industry not willing to take risks anymore.

Wow, I just threw one of these away during the last move.

This doesn't look like a spaceship at all! More like a 70's millionaire hide-out if you ask me.

I gotta say, from a german perspective, 85 mph is a pretty low speed limit for a highway. But damn, that's a cool cop car.

How about Skype for Android that's actually working? I got two Nexus devices and Skype runs like shit on both, crashing regularily without video ever working.

Let's see. What do we have here? An mp3 player. Its main raison d'être is playing your music. What do the "test notes" say? "There are some bugs here and there. Occasionally music would just stop. Once a song played twice, at the same time, but slightly staggered." You know, I encountered such problems with beta

We all do ... and I still hope for Google making use of Moto with something besides patents.

I agree, but the major point of the posting was that until now you could not download the original Google calendar app.

I know there's a calendar app included, I just didn't know there's not the calender app included. UYFB (Read: Use your fucking brain!)

*sigh* Yes, I did think that. Because I never looked at a non-Nexus Android phone. And I am very stupid.

I didn't know that even basic apps like the calendar are not included in non-Nexus Android phones. I seriously cannot understand how people are willing to buy these things. If you want an Android phone, just get a Nexus. Everything else is a disgrace.

Belkin can't even build a decent USB charger for car outlets. I wouldn't trust it with anything that's related with taking care of your kids.

Talk about form following function ...
