Don't forget that it only works when you wear your obnoxiously large geek glasses that don't fit your face.

@peligro_: I think you're right in as far as the iPhone4 may be the larger rip off. But I don't give that much about how high a phone's manufacturing costs are, as long as it's satisfying my demands. If one costs me as much as the other, I don't care if the one that I like better was less expensive to produce.

What I really like about this chart is how it shows that Nokia gains absolutely nothing by adding a 12MP camera to the N8. It's obvious that this was just the easiest way for them to give their phone any advantage at all, because investing in a good (or even usable) OS whould take them years that they don't have. But

@Br3akw3y: I've got a lot of bad things to say about Motorola (especially their Android update cycles), but I've dropped my Milestone a lot of times and it never even got a scratch. A metal frame is what you should really look for.

Yeah, "of course, a 2.3 update will follow". A year later, of course.

Why all the negative attitude and hostility in the comments? The article is quite clear that this is no magical solution to all problems related to HIV but "just" a step towards a real cure that may be quite important. So what if it's been done before! It's been done again, isn't that even better news?

How can someone with such an elaborate idea be so stupid and let his girlfriend find mask AND money?

@Apostropartheid: You would unterstand if you had as little as me. I'm using Win7 on a Dell laptop with 1 gig at home. So for me, it's not about conserving free memory - it's about keeping the swap file as small as possible.

I thought "okay, I _have_ to switch to Chrome" until I saw the memory usage. I'll stay with the fox, thankyouverymuch.

100 megabytes of free data every month? That's supposed to be a joke, right?

@Ryan: Germans. Very complicated people.

@fughedaboudit: It's magnets. Unless the baby's got a pacemaker or is Iron Man, I don't see any danger.

What about well-meaning penguins?

@RedEyeNinja: I too can't stand the fact that they write about gizmos and fun stuff here while there are people dying somewhere on earth.

Some champagne after the race probably would have been easier. Whoops, forgot about those damn islam laws...

I've seen two robots playing chess against each other at an ABB press conference this week. They didn't seem to have any concern in killing each other. So it's true, they only go out againt humans?

This Balmer video must have been posted here around 20 times now. How about something else when there's something to write about Windows? I bet you got more up your sleeves, guys.
