wooo...list time. extremely pointless on the pc with its legacy of decades of games you can still play one way or another on todays machines. but anyway (in no particular order and only games with pc as the main platform):

It would have been had the glorious pc master race not decided for a more than 20 year old bad console game instead in the community vote.

Goddamnit.

It's nice they do this, but they might as well do it right. Alba didn't even make it to the German Finals this year, let alone win anything. Brose Baskets Bamberg have been german champion 4 years in a row. You'd think this would entitle them more to making it into the game than alba.

having just recently finished new vegas I can't help but compare fo3 to assasins creed 1: it was fun enough at the time and did some interesting, new stuff, the technical and gameplay foundations have been laid out pretty well, but looking back it kinda feels like a soulless tech demo that only became a real - pretty

Just keep at it, ea. FemShep and Faith are pretty much the only unexploitative, realistic looking female video game protagonists I can think of. I'm not even gonna say we need more of that, but we definitely don't need less of that.

The look of it is really the least of its problems - I think it looks pretty neat, actually. And I love the controler, which is probably the only piece of xbox-hardware I'll get next gen.

What details are there to share about how to turn the console off? 100 years later are they still trying to grasp the specifics of the strange concept of a power on/off button?

One would think that something that has "magic" and "rocketscience" in it could also handle bc.

maybe you should watch a video or two off portal-speed-runs. If try hard enough you can probably ruin every game experience for yourself. I also wonder if it's just my habit of preserving powerful weapons for worst-case scenarios that never happen or if it's you playing the game on easy, but I never had the feeling of

I honestly wouldn't have thought there were so many people hating this game with such a passion. Also opinions.

Nope. It would be a design flaw if the game only offered to be played in an unappealing way. To me the (fun) way I played felt absolutely natural. Also again the problem of stating personal opinions and experiences as facts. Maybe the game just wasn't for you. But that doesn't make it a bad/mediocre game per se. I

Alan Wake isn't and was never meant to be a horror game. It says that right on the box, so it's kinda hard to miss.

While the actual games shown on the xbox event interest me far more than anything shown on the ps4 reveal, I still don't like their philosophy of "it's an entertainment machine...oh, and it also happens to play some games if you're into that". Even if I would care about the TV functionality it wouldn't really matter

It's not really next gen until that dog gets replaced by a collie with tressfx-powered hair

xbox one - your all in one entertainment solution...

It's a shame that realtime-tactics is a pretty much non-existent genre nowadays. Then again, games like Robin Hood and Commandos 2 indeed still look pretty enough (and play well enough) that it's not impossible to have fun playing them today - as opposed to most 3d games from that era.

I really look forward to that game but man...I'd say if your trying to "mature" videogames why not start with getting rid of tropes like "protagonist lost his memory at beginning of game" as seemingly the only way to give the player a blank slate.

whoa this turned out much better than I expected. lots of great shops here. congrats to all winners.

Oh man, dat suit...
