The contrast between Jon’s stupidity and Sansa underscoring that she is actually learning from past mistakes...well it’s something.

If that’s true then the NK really deserves the iron throne at this point because he’s a tactical genius. He also gets bonus points for never talking.
But at least Jon’s commentary about what happens when everyone lies was timely in terms of Trump.
Who dies first in the coming war between avclub and i09? I see them coexisting about as well as Cersei and Dany.
Jon’s whole arc this season is baffling. I think I hate it. I loved that Tyrion called him out for his little bit of nonsense.
There was that comet in the sky that signaled dragons hatching back in S2, remember? The others are old enough to know what that means.
Everything the Nights King has done since has been to bait whoever has them into showing up - he might have even know prior to that. Remember the poor bastard they cut loose in the…
I mean, he was wrong. And pretty fucking stupid. He did manage to make being stupid sound reasonable, but that’s the most dangerous kind of stupid (what I prefer to call the Mike Pence variety).
I’m using that Kinjamprove extension and it still sucks. Every time I load the page the comments are in a different order.
Wtf happened to the AV Club? Jesus. This new format sucks so hard. And Disqus is dead? Ew. Anyway... that whole sequence at the beginning with everyone meeting up and trading short words of reacquaintance was excellent, and the big meeting was pretty unpredictable. When Cersei later pulled her usual duplicitous shit,…
Tyrion seemed a bit miffed that Jon and Dany were having private time. I wonder how they’re going to get Tormond to Winterfell before the Wights.
EVERYTHING needs more gingers.
Sansa’s use of his own advice against him was extraordinarily satisfying. The whole scene, really.
And now it really hits home..,the first truly amazing piece of TV since the conversion, and the experience of consuming the review, considering points of view, and heartily commenting has just been sooooooo diminished by the short-sighted muckity mucks that run AVC...
I really hope we didn’t lose Tormund. GOT needs more gingers.
It was definitely the best episode of the season. (Almost) None of the magical teleporting or pacing issues, and loads of character development. Couple of genuinely shocking moments as well. I really thought Jaime was going to get Mountain-ed.
Naw I bet they lived. If they’d died we’d see the wight versions of them marching before that final shot.
Did we see them die? If so, I’m gonna assume they’re still alive.
Well, until it was revealed to be a ruse, Euron peacing the fuck out of King’s Landing might have been my favorite moment of that episode.
Kinja is stupid. The end.
