A little bit worried that [www.yasni.com] isn't mentioned! Not only does it bring up everything that Google and Facebook brings up when you search a name, but searches all other blogs and social networks too! It's even bigger than Facebook in Germany too as you can create connections with friends, families and…
I've always found the results in [isearch.com] very good.
[search.io] is very useful for searching people on multiple sites
@EricGeschpeght: Moreover, searches for me lead me to other peoples' [123people.com] results, clogging up my search results with people who are barely related to me.
Good list. LexisNexis was a good recommendation. But add to this [Zoominfo.com] - locates and aggregates information about companies and people from deep web. Makes it easier to identify a person from professional connections. Very useful for searchers to use to validate author of an article or web writer / blogger.
cvgadget.com is my best friend for these kinds of searches.
How about Google just adjusts their algorithm and wipes out all these spammy 'people search engines' who are just manipulating their SEO tactics to muddy up and lower the quality of people-related Google searches?
You missed Whozat, the only semantic and interactive people search engine (www.whozat.com). Whozat lets you query not just with names, but descriptions of the person you seek. It produces an automated concept cloud summary of the person. It lets you indicate any result for the person you are looking for and finds more…
Hands down the best is [reunitedpeoplesearch.com], one you did not mention and it's totally free!
There is another whole search portal with resources you find nowhere else as well as links to all the people search engines.
I always use www.public-records-now.com. You do have to pay, but the information is always comprehensive and reliable... unlike many of the other services - esp. pipl. Don't like that one at all.
Has anyone tried Peoplebot.com? I was able to find addresses that I was not able to find on any of the above mentioned search engines. I dont know if I simply got lucky or if [Peoplebot.com] simply searches in a different way.
...and more
How has no one mentioned yoname.com??? I use that all the time, and it's awesome. :D
[zabasearch.com] and [www.lexisnexis.com] are also great engines - but lexisnexis is a pay site- but can typically be used in Library Computers in your neighborhood.
