Looks more like The Fate Of The Furiosa.

Oh don't feel too bad I had to double check IMDB to confirm but I was pretty sure it was Kranz it's an easy enough mixup given Deke's role was similar to Kranz so I kind of mix them up in my mind too. I also love they got Harris to do the ground control voice in Gravity too.
Well at you're a hack comedian with ethics that knows how to give proper joke citations!
He played Gene Kranz, not Deke. :)
Naw that would be Scott Paulin. Did Harris play Deke at some point too? Yeah it's funny when I think of the Mercury astronauts my mental picture is of their actors from The Right Stuff. Always amused that Harris played Glenn, Glenn played Shepard and Shepard played Yeager.
Ed Harris will always be John Glenn to me, and also Gene Kranz.
Evidence people are morons, see also 2016 election.
I have an extra Ass to Ass I can part with.
In the same vein, kangaroo is the aboriginal term for "I don't know".
Yeah it's just the film stock probably, I mean, I live through most of the 70's and don't remember it looking like that. :)
It's funny I always see Reqiuem for a Dream on the list of movies that are great but you never want to watch again. Granted it's no Hunt for Red October (a film I couldn't help but be sucked into watching if I came across channel surfing, alas something that will never happen again as I've long since cut the cord)…
Damn you must be the 2000 year old man Mel Brooks was talking about.
I guess this more nuanced take on the red/blue divide wasn't to his liking.

I now want a Requiem for a Dream trading card set for some reason.
Are you sure that wasn't just the title of her new album? I will say her "fuck this world" comment from like 20 years ago seems appropriate now.
Don't you see, that's precisely it's so brilliant. That's the last thing anyone would expect in a galaxies with literally millions of other places you could hide.
Yeah it's funny I'm an iOS developer so when Apple introduced their new Swift programming language I groaned when I saw that convenience was a keyword the language, so I would have to be typing it on a regular basis. Thankfully though the Xcode autocompletes it for me so I only have to type like con and then hit tab.
convenience always and forever will be the one word I will never, ever be able to spell correctly without auto correct.
I want an Iain M Banks Culture series dammit! And to go on in wish fulfillment mode, a proper adaptation of World War Z as a Ken Burn's style documentary miniseries.
Yeah but the real twist is that it's actually a world based on the book "Shogun".
