Agreed, Djoker is still the scariest opponent for Rafa fans. Though this new version of Fed is also very concerning but I think (hope rather) that he will lose early at the French because of lack of prep/seemingly not caring about the tourney as much.

Even mentally broken Djoker is still dangerous. He just has the game to beat Rafa, even on clay. I would love Rafa to get his 10th FO I think beating even a weak Djoker would give him the confidence that he can do it.

I could make the argument that anywhere from 9-12 of Fed’s majors were won before Rafa was a true all-court threat and during that time, Roddick was considered a “rival” (coming from a Roddick fan)
