I configured a Mineral White over Coral M235i with the 6-speed manual. I think the 228i is a great bargain once chipped, but a small BMW coupe should have a lovely inline-6 instead of a clackity 4 cylinder (classic BMW's aside - 2002, e30 M3, etc.), which is why I opted for the M235i. The new Jalop edition BMW should be the 228i M Sport Line with manual transmission and M Sport brakes, Alpine on Coral comes in at $38,125. It weighs just 10lbs more than the 320i, but with the BMS Stage 1 tune (for $380) would produce ~50% more power and has been tested on the 100lb heaver 328i to get to 60 in 4.9s.
