Actually, both were Greenway productions, and even used the same composer/arranger and narrator. The Green Hornet was done as a serious series and kicked my young ass. I loved its serious edge as opposed to Batman’s campiness. Greenway even had the Hornet and Kato pop out of a window in one of the trademark

I’m really happy that we got to have two weeks with two hours of episodes each week, because they felt like mini movies. I’m sad, however, because it means we got to the finale quicker. WHY’S IT GOT TO BE OVER??

  • Jarvis with the microphone glasses makes him look like he’d fit right into Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Why you gotta do me like that, Marvel? That was a brutal way to send us on our week.

Well, boo. Recaps were my favorite thing about io9. Getting the chance to discuss the previous night’s shows with everyone. I guess we can still do them on observation deck. I volunteer to do Gotham. For one thing, I actually like the damn show. And if no one else wants to do Supernatural, I’ll do that one too.

WOW. Well THAT’S some horseshit right there. Guess I’ll have to start reading io9 less and Cool_Breeze’s kinja more; that dude does THU BEST recaps on the site, bar none.

Bonus points for Silver’s Wilhelmina Scream.

Fox is officially the best character on this show now! I am watching it for him with his intelligence and common sense. It is so out of place like he wandered in lost from a much better show.

This damn show is making me feel like a broken record. Last week I talked about how they do a great job of NOT hiding the ball for the sake of suspense, and this week was a great example of that. This was a mid-season or season finale level episode, and we got it in the middle of November. Not only did the team find

The DEO is using UNIT call signs! I noticed it last week, but it was super obvious this week—they’re calling their vehicles “Greyhound” and “Trap One,” just like the alien-fighting organization UNIT from back in 1970s Doctor Who.

This episode was not like any other episode of this series to date. From the instant Simmons realized she was on a different planet and the title appears silently, you just knew this was something special.

Still haven’t gotten used to the new ‘do. I just can’t bring myself to like it.

Fun fact, Splinter of TMNT was inspired by The Stick. In fact, much of Daredevil inspired TMNT.

NOBODY MAKES ME BLEED MY OWN BLOOD! NOBODY!

MY WAYFARERS ARE SONIC NOW! IT’S CANON. BRB, GOING TO FIGHT A DALEK.

I just hope the well hasn’t been poisoned too much. Both for the audience and potential actors who may be scared off.

The difference is that when we went into Iraq, it was with strong support from both sides of the aisle.
