Can we get a wellness check on that C30? The left mirror cap is also missing, so probably not the first time Mr. Busey has clipped someone.

NP. These are gorgeous and becoming increasingly rare since so many people have given up on them. This would be ideal for someone who isn’t looking for perfection and just wants to tinker around and go for the occasional cruise.

They tried, but the technology wasn’t there.

Damn. I never even considered this but I think you’re right. It is just a few nips and tucks away from looking like a killer EV. A great idea that only Mitsubishi could ruin.

As a longtime Volvo C30 owner, I’d love to see it refreshed as an EV. Volvo had one in the concept phase that sadly never went into production. The new EX30 is such a miss for me because it doesn’t stand out from the C40 or XC40Recharge in any significant way other than being another CUV, only slightly sized down.

So you buy a clapped out Corvette, say a C3 or C4. You tell yourself, “It’ll be a fun project. I can save it.” It’s exciting for a while and you think you have everything under control. Just a weekend thing, right? You buy some parts (but not too many) to get started and put them in the trunk. You begin spending most

I’d still rather have the leather. My C30 has the T-Tec seats with the white fabric center inserts and I’ve always hated them. I’m about to have mine reupholstered because the T-Tec is starting to crack in a few places and the fabric was made in some alternate dimension where even filtered bottled water will stain it.

Cut the price in half and I’d be willing to spend more time evaluating the merits of a low mileage Dodge Stratus, but I’m certain I’d still pass after running through such a mundane thought exercise. These weren’t good when new and time surely has not been any kinder. This is priced with the assumption that it is

This is a tough one. It’s probably worth $4500 as-is with the expectation that you will drive it until it breaks. These are prohibitively expensive to fix, tend to present some frustrating issues as age and mileage increase, and are usually lost causes if they come with a history of neglect. This one probably isn’t

Pffft...expensive vintage cars are so 2020. Building your own dick-shaped rocket is the new cool for billionaires. To the moon baybeee!

Looks fun, but I could find plenty of better ways to have fun for $23k. This would also force me into far too many unwanted conversations with strangers, so double ND.

In a FWD car you should always mount the safety spare on the rear axle after rotating an undamaged tire to the... never mind. Altima.

No Lambo has ever looked better than a yellow Countach.

That Xterra was my first thought as well. I’m usually not a fan of yellow but always thought those looked so good in that color, and wanted one badly when they first came out.

I’ve driven through big mountains multiple times in white-knuckle winter conditions, but always felt some assurance knowing I could call for help, or at least count on the likelihood of seeing another motorist eventually. But years ago, my wife and I spent a weekend driving the Mojave and eventually taking Hwy 190

Haha, thank you stranger. I will also forever associate these cars with Motley Crüe. My friend’s reckless and wild older sister had recently gotten her license and came to pick us up from somewhere. They lived in a subdivision near the city limits accessed by a long and hilly road, and there was a particular hill she

Oh man, when I was a kid my best friend’s mom bought one of these brand new, right after getting divorced. It wasn’t a Blue Max, but I will always associate Mercury Cougars of this generation with my childhood friend’s mercurial cougar of a mother - a hot, newly single real estate agent (obviously) on the prowl. Lots

I have financial anxiety just from looking at this. When it comes to anything that is both expensive AND difficult to diagnose and fix, I want stock 100% of the time. This might not be a bad deal for someone who really knows their way around these but I do not have the knowledge, discretionary funds, or emotional

I’ve seen one of the boxier 3rd gens running around my area for almost a decade but I’ve never had the opportunity to meet the owner. It’s sweet as hell though. They were sold in the US for about 3 years in the late 80's and were simply named “Mitsubishi Wagon”, but I don’t think 4WD was available here. Mechanicals
