Some MFers are always trying to ice skate uphill.

It doesn’t matter what you look like on the outside, whether you’re white, black, or Sasquatch, even. As long as you follow your dream, no matter how crazy or against the law it is... except for Sasquatch. If you’re Sasquatch, the rules are different.

If a trade publication announces a series, but fails to indicate anyone is airing / streaming / distributing said series....is this going to be a glorified podcast, or are they putting the news out in hope that Netflix (or some other content aggregator) pays to put the content on their platform?

The funeral will be brought to you by the letters R, I, and P.

Territorial rights are the reason why Coke sells Mr. Pibb (in some of the places where they do not have Dr. Pepper).

Wubbaa lubba dub dub.

As someone who is Team Pepsi, losing Culvers hurts a bit; that was one of its major advantages, at least to me.

I can’t be the only person disappointed Aubrey wasn’t name-checked as Janet Snakehole during the old time-y detective sketch, right?

There’s a lot of fun to be had outside of missions, interacting with the characters. It reminds me of the X-Men Legends games from over a decade ago (outside of combat) …updated to include the friendship / relationship mechanics from games like Mass Effect and the Persona series.

Finished Marvel’s Midnight Suns....and immediately went back in to New Game+ in search of a Platinum Trophy (will be the first ever on my PS5, I think?) I need to go full-dark (think Renegade from Mass Effect) in my card plays / dialogue choices, plus play a few more items (non-cards with free abilities you can craft

Papa Murphy’s is my go-to for a (4-meat) stuffed pizza....though their version is not really “deep dish” on account of them not sending you home with the pan.

I appreciate a movie title that so clearly establishes what the movie is going to be like.

Giving mild benefit of the doubt, I assume the writer is talking about the person in the passenger’s seat of a car, carrying the box on the drive home....because otherwise, that’s almost as odd as cutting off a thought mid-sentence.

...next you’re going to tell me they didn’t actually win the Illinois lottery.

Not even the promise of Anna Kendrick taking a “cleavage selfie” is enough to convince me to watch this movie.

I have so much residual goodwill from Night Court (the hidden gem of NBC’s Thursday night lineup) that I am hoping that this remake turns out well.

I think the casting director deserves credit. There are scenes over the course of the show where I thought to myself that Ruby Cruz as Kit bore a striking resemblance to a young Val Kilmer; Byrk as well. Boorman was a breakout character, in large part because of Chadra-Patel’s charisma. Revelori and Kellyman I had

For me, it’s the lack of Jerry Reed, Sandy Duncan, and all the other celebrity cameos who were well past their prime by the time I actually watched the show (with a slight caveat of Sonny & Cher, due to his politics and her forcing auto-tune on the masses).

First two which came to mind for me: Overwatch and Control.

At my Q-Doba (way better than Chipotle, as I’ve said here before), there’s no problem putting fajita veggies on a quesadilla. When I tried the Birria quesadilla at this very site’s recommendation - that is exactly how I ordered it every time.
