The longer this generation goes on the more I wonder if I should have just stuck with Xbox. The PS2 was a magnificent machine, but the PS3 was cumbersome and the PS4 seems to have won by simply being less ambitious. Sony is a hard company to support. Microsoft’s Xbox division acts like they actually care.

You mean boring, if you’re an achivement/trophy hunter, sometimes you don’t even notice when a trophy unlocks, microsoft achievements (that sony copied) are just right.

It appears to be based on what percentage of people who have played the game have achieved said achievement. So rare achievements would become less rare over time, which makes sense. They already mirror Sony’s gold/silver/bronze rankings with the numerical values, something at 20 GP would be equivalent to a bronze…
