Was the “for the win” in the headline really needed? Does anyone “compete for the loss”?
Bradley did.
Using that saying to talk about bad cops is ridiculous because they always seem to forget the rest of the saying.
I care about the environment and I have a longish commute. I am totally in the ballpark of a Prius customer, but I would never, ever buy one because of the way it looks. I wouldn’t care as much if it were done for aerodynamics sake, but most of it... isn’t.
The fact it takes up 1/3 of the bed when it’s retracted isn’t great. The sloped rear window doesn’t help. I guess it’s like one of those... light bar things that were big on custom trucks in the 90s.
NP, but the green and wood-tone exterior with that grey interior is kind of jarring to me. It needs a tan interior for sure.
I saw one in-person for the first time a few years ago. It was chilling outside a regular, boring house in suburban Tampa, FL. I walked around it, taking it all in, for about 15 minutes. It was glorious.
I’ll take the teal truck with the patina in the background, please.
In my freshman year of college, I went home to my parents house for spring break. I somehow managed to not pack a single piece of clothing. Not even an extra shirt. I had to sneak off to Walmart and buy clothes and a duffle bag so I didn’t look like a complete moron.
The “40" in a tire size is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width. Not 40mm.
A coworker has a newish Hyundai sedan. It has the white paint that is coming off in huge sheets. Hyundai told him “it doesn’t decrease the value of the vehicle” and to go kick rocks.
I am all-in for patina in general but this particular patina looks like ass. Pretty sure he did it by hand with an angle grinder.
I don’t mind alpha-numeric names when the make sense. For awhile, you could tell exactly what engine and body style a BMW had by it’s name. 325i? 3 series sedan with a 2.5 liter engine. But now with turbos and hybrids and 4 door coupes and all this dumb shit, all that is out the window.
What’s that old joke? What do an 700hp, and 800hp, and a 900hp Supra have in common? 9 second quarter mile times.
I saw a Ford Fairmont sedan that someone turned into an trucklet. I later learned that there was also a Ford-built trucklet called the Durango. I guess they let the name trademark lapse...
I’m not in the market for either of these, but I’d go for the Nissan Z.
If I’m importing a van, I’m going Hiace. If I’m going to have to overnight parts from Japan, I might as well look like nothing else on the road.
