I had a 1966 AMC Rambler wagon with hydraulics. I was working on the switches, but I was rushing to get it done and ready for a car show. I got her buttoned up and off I went.

I think my highest horsepower car was a Thunderbird SC at a roaring 215 hp. I’ve never been very into high horsepower cars. I watched a video of a guy in a Tesla doing Ludicrous Speed and it didn’t look very fun.

The first clue that he was full of shit was that he said he was going to walk. This motherfucker doesn’t walk. If he had said, “I will drive a golf cart while you losers walk”, well, maybe we could have believed him.

Spot on!

Whenever someone does the money conversion, I’m always amazed how much car we get for our money in 2021. A Chevy Spark is also $14,000, but is practically a space ship compared to a Beetle.

This guy down the street from my girlfriend’s house is always bringing home new (old) JDM cars. He has a Honda Beat, an r32 Skyline, some RHD Toyota sedan, and his newest acquisition is a Nissan Cedric Y32 Gran Turismo. He must get a new car every 2 months or so.

I disagree. I have a w123 and I have a few wheels that have looked good. These are some 16x9 Gottis:

I think it’s worth that based on the condition, but I hate to be cliche, but I would never pay that for an automatic version. I also think I’d go for an 840i, just for the easier maintenance.

Just make everything a battery. Frame? Battery. Doors? Batteries. Seats? Batteries.

I must say I cringed every time I read “stick axle”.. Never heard it called that. I much prefer “solid axle” for some reason.

There is a musical called Hands on a Hardbody”... the Nissan truck, not a gay sex show.

Are you serious?

I want that Honda City Turbo II bad, but not $17,000 bad. Yikes.

He expects me to pay $58,777 but cant even get a single picture of the interior, frunk or engine bay? I’ve sold $2000 beater cars with waaaaay more pictures than this.

I rode to university and back every day in one of these. The memories! This was University of Florida, 1999-2004.

Can’t tell if sarcastic or not. Hmmm...

The tech and the fact that it spawned a whole new generation of gearheads makes it more significant than a gt350. That is just another mustang. The GTR is a special model that was and will never be duplicated. It came from a bubble era that defined what a super car jdm would be.
