That is good to know, I shared the pothole joke because they’ve been known to really mess up a car’s front.

Care to share some context?
You should have started with the advice bit instead of being horrible and demeaning...
I pick a random thing based on the law of averages, if it doesn’t work for your life replace it with something that does... [Plus, I can visit Disney for free]
Thank you for this, I can’t account for the diversity, and I have no clue who peed in his punch this morning.
How’s life in the Tesla?
My friend has the M3 AWD ER and can drive from Nashville to Atlanta without any range anxiety.
Who peed in your punch?
I can’t read your mind and the napkin math examples are there to show there is a measurable difference in cost of ownership. So, don’t get fussy with me for not accounting for your specific lifestyle due to lack of details to reference from.
With 8k/mi in an electric car, probably less than…
For the average joe, $1k a year is the difference between a family vacation to Disney or a ski trip to Colorado.
Hello from Tennessee!
95% of the time, you’re driving to work and back, to school and home, visiting friends in town, etc. You plug in the car at night, it’s ready to go in the morning.
Your gas car did absolutely nothing overnight and still costs more to drive a year than the hybrid or EV cousin.
Electric trips over 500 miles aren’t…
I didn’t get the sarcasm, sorry.
Your information is severely outdated, all EV’s are required to pay road tax, I pay $100/year to the state to drive my Leaf on the road. http://www.ncsl.org/research/energy/new-fees-on-hybrid-and-electric-vehicles.aspx
Norway called, 58% of all cars on the road are electric.
It’s pretty cold there, so I’d say the pack…
Have you heard of a thing called potholes?
Here in Tennessee, if you can fit a dinner plate in it, that’s what you call a small one...
The 2nd Gen volts are nice, but the back seat might be a bit cramped for three kids.
Definitely hard to do brand-new, but worth it CPO, off-lease, gently used, etc.
Good to know I’m not the only one.
Yikes!
It’s impossible to know everyone’s power rate whether it’s flat or peak/off-peak , etc. I used the national average and calculated up a ballpark number for perspective on the measurable difference between gas and electric fueling costs.
Most people can save $500/year or more just by not using gas.
My power provider is…
A plug in hybrid would be your best bet:
Mitsubishi outlander or Subaru Crosstrek
Gas on the highway, electric in the city.
The concept of the Rivian truck sound amazing, but really expensive.

You do have to check it every year, I tweaked the wording if it wasn’t clear.
That’s awesome!
I can confirm that electric cars are much cheaper to maintain and “fuel up”
