I'm one of the few who LOVE Hudsucker because I love Preston Sturges and screwball—Jennifer Jason Leigh's femme fatale was the best female acting that year and she got diddley because no one saw her here.

Just saw it. I agree. The Coens do a wonderful job with simple, gentle, affirmative characters like Charlie Meadows, The Cowboy in Lebowski, and Hobie.
