I know, I know, he’s the “living” Vampire, a mutate. But these suckers will always haunt me.

Now they could do the biggest twist and reveal her to play a dwarf.

Well, the Mordor games were pretty successful, so it looks like people are fine with more action in their Tolkien-like stories. I see it like this: Jacksons LotR is as much as a stylistic template at this point as Star Wars. The look is enough to capture the audience attention. That’s all they have to follow.

It got pretty good in the Ghost Rider season, but I stopped watching before they went into space, I think. It had potential as a sci-fi/spy show, but it kept doing these half-assed attempts to become a superhero show. I had fun watching it most of the time, but I see it as a relic.

Eh, they weren’t exactly frontrunners until now. And they are still less super than the big names.

That... looks better than I’ve expected? The set photos reminded me of a Power Rangers villain. This at least looks like Taskmaster. Kinda. More grounded, because the gods forbid for a theatric villain, but close enough.

Oof, I’m glad they never went that route with Ward. Most little nuggets of comic lore that were injected into AOS were wasted IMHO. I’m still sour over their weak-ass Mr. Hyde.

The funny thing is I would have agreed more with you before the title reveal. When the news came up that they would go for Shang-Chi as one of the next big solo movies I was “what? But he’s just Marvels Bruce Lee!” But the campy title that ties him with the Mandarin gives me some hope that it will be a blast. It’s a

So, no Deviants so far..? Or have I missed something?

I want him to do what he is meant for and train some goddamn mooks.

Odd thought, but kinda cool? Given that Sersi is the only Eternal I was looking forward to I wouldn’t be mad about a younger actress for her. Ramps up the possibility for her to stick around.

Inexcusable. By far the most memorable and interesting of the Eternals.

Makkari is also a dude in the comics AFAIK. I mean I get why they want to boost the number of roles for women, but why the heck would they skip Sersi?!

Thena, Jolie’s character, is Thanos cousin in the comics.

Just let the vampires drink the blood through their palms with little twitching leech mouths to keep it kids friendly.

I guess he’s just a regular guy compared to the mad scientists and Übermenschen, but it could work? It’s probably more like classic adventure movies, where the hero fights supernatural enemies instead of being supernatural himself. He doesn’t have to be the most interesting part of the story, just someone we can root

The Ten Rings were still in the game in Ant-Man, ready to buy some Pym particles from Cross. I wonder what else they have tried to acquire over the course of time.

I’m pleased to see that they will keep up the biceps porn after Evans departure.

Twist: Barton was infiltrating Kree sleeper cells.

They should have called it “America’s all-new asses.”
