That’s... very possible. They dropped the term Terrigen in another cutscene. Apparently what fueled a generator on the Helicarrier-thingy. The accident could be the source for a spike in people with powers.

And there goes my hope for Morgan le Fay becoming a bad big in the movies.
Well, we had one. But when they can have three or more Canaries, why not another Mockingbird?!
She would make one hell of a Mockingbird.
Yup. Looks like she went shopping with Barda.
I’m still waiting for Jim Carrey to play Squee.
I remember a time when there was a rumor April fools joke about a Weatherlight Saga film.
Oof, I completely forgot that they have made a new one. I liked it more than Ultimate Spider-Man, at least from what I remember.
It looks more like something I would expect from Dreamworks, not Pixar, but the former has become really good over the course of the last decade so that is not a bad thing. At least I hope so.
Oooh, right, Beast had this as part of his second (third? fourth?) mutation when he started to look like a walking lion, right?
Crap, I forgot they make a third one. I still have to fight through the second one. First Netflix series I dropped. Some of the comments aren’t giving me much hope for the rest.
Is there a Marvel equivalent to Doctor Psycho?
It’s kinda nice of them to showcase how awesome Endgame was compared to the Pre-MCU Marvel movies by making this movie. Masochistic as hell, but kinda nice.
Yeah, but where was exactly the potential in a budget version of the Phoenix Saga...?
Maybe that’s part of the plot for the series, getting Sam a shot of the serum.
The pod race definitely elevates it above everything else. I loathe young Ani and still enjoy it immensely.
But Giant Eagles are rare creatures! Students are, well, renewable human resources.
Shit. I wasn’t afraid of getting signs of withdrawal for the rest of the year until you made the drug analogy.
They laid the foundation for mutants, mutates or whatever in Iron-Man 3 in one of my favorite scenes, when Killian shows Pepper his massive brain and tells her that there is an empty slot and that the human mind, their entire DNA in fact, is destined to be upgraded.
Or maybe he starts as a villain/charlatan posing as a hero but becomes a “real” hero in the end after spending some quality time with Peter.
