I’m not even sure it lasted longer than one issue, but yes, that’s his glorious debut.

They managed even to make Jar Jar bearable. Not exactly a good character, but I wasn’t bothered by him in the series. Which is a huge upgrade from one of the most hated characters of the whole Saga. 

One of my personal SW pipedreams is a live-action Clone Wars movie directed by Filoni with Christensen, Portman, and McGregor. I think they deserve one more time to redeem the PT. 

This. I haven’t watched the prequels in ages and was too distracted by the cringeworthy lines to appreciate the voice actors.

The term I had in mind was “unepic” - not bad in itself, but just mundane.

Wasn’t the source material a bit more horror and surreal than your run-of-the-mill superhero story? I’m still curious about the movie. Sounds like a fresh direction. A horror film with powered people is not a bad idea in itself, I guess.
