That happens when you expect gamer jokes, but get one for cats.

Really? I would say the designs of Phantom Menace are the most memorable ones from the prequels and I like them a lot, especially the Battle Droids. I would even dare to call them iconic. From there everything had to look more like the OT, so it was there only chance to do try out something different.

The prequels lacked McQuarrie too, but that didn’t stop them from introducing new ships.

The level of influence a work had on the whole genre might be a factor in this lists ranking, but I don’t think its a major one. And coming first doesn’t always has to mean that you will stay last. Matrix was the Star Wars of its generation. Nothing new, but a mix that no one has seen before. Dark City and Thirteenth

If you’re interested in silent sci-fi movies, you might want to check out Algol: Tragedy of Power. It tells the story of a coal miner who finds a way to create unlimited energy with the help of an alien influence, his rise to power and how such a technology would affect the world.

Red is pretty much the only other striking color of Cammy’s outfit, so the choice is not so odd.

Okay, that is a very specific kind of nostalgia, hard to argue with that one.

Yeah, every kid wanted to be Starscream, right?

That was normally the case with 80s cartoon villains. Skeletor, the mobsters from C.O.P.S., heck, even Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. The biggest exception I can think of is Optimus Prime. He was always the coolest looking robot in disguise. Meh-gatron was the boring one.

And it still manages to bring all these different players together with the simple but clever wall of death. No, you can’t camp/hike here forever! Give the others a chance to shoot you! And that gentle push is okay. I appreciate that every demise in PUBG is a quick one. Not like DayZ or Rust where other players want

I’m way too happy when I finally catch someone sneaking around to let them pass. Just found my first 8x scope and saw someone on the far horizon, so tried to shoot him. He got away but that was my personal highlight of the match and a tense moment for him, I guess. But yeah, it’s just nice to run around and explore

I know this feeling. But keep playing! If you’re lucky you encounter some poor sob who has even poorer reflexes or is completely unaware of you while running away from the barrier. And then, when watching his uncovered back through the crosshair you may think something like “Ah. So that’s how they feel!”

A new Vampire: The Masquerade (or any other World of Darkness setting) game.

Yeah, these...people went too deep down the rabbit hole. Lost souls. Every group spawns some ugly offsprings.

Why creating something new when you are already emotionally invested in a certain setting that has a fandom attached to share your thought, art, and emotions? Creating your own thing is the next logical step, but most of them are happy enough with celebrating the work of others. Think of them like poets that add their

Ah, poor Sky. I was completely oblivious to the fact that he tried to hit on my male character. I always thought “man, Sky is such a good ally, so supportive!” then he get’s all heartbroken at the end of the game and I’m “...wut?”
