Haiti just cannot catch a break for many years now. It’s been my experience that Haitian hatred and stereotypes run pretty strong in the US—more than some other immigrant groups. I agree it’s partially because the people are black, but I think there is something more Haitian-specific to it as well.

Well, given that one of the men involved is an abortion provider who would get sued into oblivion if this law was upheld, that would make things a bit difficult.

Per the update: So now multiple people from anywhere can file suit against the same defendant over the same procedure??? This really is fucking madness.

I hope all the men keep suing each other while the people with uteruses get their healthcare in a timely and safe fashion.
