This is spot on. If the abuse happened, that’s a tragedy, and for that she deserves justice. But she’s also a pathologically lying charlatan that defrauded people out of billions, and for that she deserves justice.

Both? He was reportedly abusive to his employees. Not hard to believe he was abusive to her too. I think that last sentence is key. It’s not an excuse for her business decisions.
I just need everyone to know that my brain processed this headline as “Elizabeth Smart Accuses Ex-Boyfriend Thanos of Abuse.”
I’d like to know her explanation for defrauding investors prior to his involvement.
Playing another trick from the book of white female victimhood. Big bad brown guy abused her and forced her to defraud investors and mistreat her employees and lie through her teeth. Let’s see if the court buys this excuse. Anyway, I am more intrigued by what white feminists on Twitter make of this. Should she be…
Theranos started in 2003. Sunny didn’t start working there until 2009. I’d like to know her explanation for defrauding investors prior to his involvement.
I read elsewhere that this minimal sentencing we’re seeing for the Insurrectionists is due to the fact that the DA’s are rolling up the low-hanging fruit and that the more serious charges haven’t been litigated yet. One would hope, anyways.
It’s not important but I must say, this guy is dressed and styled exactly as I knew he would be before even clicking play. Pretty sure he has a shrine to Kevin Federline in his basement room.
Welcome to the no-fly list, pally.
I was surprised that somebody didn’t subdue him or beat his behind. That was a frightening display of misdirected anger. Radical change is required in a nation where ordinary jobs carry astronomical safety risks, school shooters are praised and insurrectionists revered.
This being Florida, couldn’t they have just shot him?
I am convinced that whatever percentage of the population we have been told are sociopaths and psychopaths was WAY too small.
You’re right, it does.
These people love to crow about America being the best country ever but are also constantly fighting against basic shit like feeding schoolchildren. It’s nuts.
My understanding is that this decision is actually costing them money too, since the money they were getting more than covered the cost of the food. That is, they’re losing money just to stick it to poor families.
Especially when the Feds are paying for it, so it costs the school nothing.
This is meanness for the sake of meannness.
So the next time someone says...in America, that’s not who we are or we’re better than that...it is exactly who “we” are and nope, “we” are not better than that. “We” are willing to allow children to be hungry when “we” can feed them. This really is an abomination.
Fuck them straight to hell.
Assholes: “We don’t want you to be spoiled. Starve!”
Same assholes: “I am a Christian! I could never do anything bad!”
