This is spot on. If the abuse happened, that’s a tragedy, and for that she deserves justice. But she’s also a pathologically lying charlatan that defrauded people out of billions, and for that she deserves justice.

Both? He was reportedly abusive to his employees. Not hard to believe he was abusive to her too. I think that last sentence is key. It’s not an excuse for her business decisions.

I read elsewhere that this minimal sentencing we’re seeing for the Insurrectionists is due to the fact that the DA’s are rolling up the low-hanging fruit and that the more serious charges haven’t been litigated yet. One would hope, anyways.
