But...why are you proud?
But...why are you proud?
It’s a reference to another song by the rapper Kodak Black.
I love these emojis and as a black girl, use them in place of yellow. I do have a bone to pick with them tho - very rarely are people have that much melanin in their palm. Of course, it’s a super tiny image and that much fidelity isn’t necessary, but it’s always bothered me.
America got very little of the Africans exported during the Slave Trade. Latin America and the Caribbean got the majority of them, you don’t imagine that because they’re not in the media.
The moment I heard this song I knew this would be the outcome.
Cardi B is black. So you can at least relax on that one point.
Hair Weave spam accounts and dental surgery recommendations make me want to burn instagram forever.
I recall seeing a study where CEOs and other higher ups don’t use proper grammar, spelling, or punctuation in emails do it as they gain more power in an organization. So an assistant has to be on their Ps and Qs, any mistake will get a response via email or in person reprimanding it. Nobody corrects a higher up.
Oh it definitely wasn’t an honest apology (which is why I agree that they shouldn’t have done it if it wasn’t earnest). I’m on Envy’s side in regards to ‘bringing that same energy,’ that makes them look weak.
I also appreciate that when Desus and Mero were confronted with it, they just apologized instead of trying to get Envy to understand their intent. A lot of people go the, ‘well if you were offended,’ route, but instead they just apologized.
Fx has the episodes the day after they air on their website
I mean, isn’t he the same person who rapped, “I hope the show gets cancelled, maybe then I can focus.” I’m not sure if he was still on Community at the time, but it’s a thing he said. (“We Ain’t Them”)
No, I mean... to be abandoned is active. This is an ethnic group - of which there are tons, even if it’s broken down by country - actively disowning another. And...I don’t know, I just acknowledge and understand that history brought Africa and the United States on two completely different paths so all sides were a bit …
Gettig rejected and feeling abandoned are two different things though. I’m talking about that feeling of abandonment, I’ve (as a Black american) never felt that way nor do I understand that logic
People feel this way? Since when? I have never thought this and don’t get the logic behind it.
I’m reminded of the Colbert Report’s “Ching Chong, Ding Dong,” ‘organization.’ When called out on how making fun of Republicans doesn’t mean kicking other minority groups to prove a point, Colbert went on the defensive and threw a toddler tantrum. He made fun of the Suey Park who started the #CancelColbert hashtag by…
That ‘Black Gold of the Sun’ line reminds me of the time I introduced my father to Youtube and Blogs and he rediscovered a bunch of music he hadn’t heard in years. He was skeptical at first, “But do they have ...lemme think.... Black Gold of the Sun?” Bam, sure enough it did.
Wow, I haven’t listened to Camp since I bought it. I’d like to think it never happened.
Idk, I’m all for dragging Kim, but I can’t get down with calling another woman a sex doll.
I’m working abroad. Bringing a PS4 to another country isn’t exactly practical, but I look forward to going back home and playing games again. Hearing the cool ass shit that’s been coming and going with games I already own sucks. Thank you for your concern.
