Eh? CS Pros don’t play on regular Valve 64 tick servers. I can’t imagine having 128 tick servers is why some lower tier CS pros jumped ship. It’s all about career opportunities.

Tickrate comparisons between games is pretty apples and oranges though. Riot advertised “128-tick” super heavily because it’s a pain point to the kind of people that haven’t done the research into why 64 tick has remained the default for the life of the game.

You know what, I really wish good things for this game. For the many, MANY flaws Anthem had, it was certainly a gorgeous, evocative experience in many ways, and the core gameplay of flying and spamming abilities was really, really strong. It’s all the scaffolding that basically needs a complete overhaul.

IMO, Bungie is fucking up by listening to the community. The Destiny subreddit is one of the most entitled places you can go on the Internet. The dynamic between papa Nier and Emil is actually one of the best parts of Gestalt. Nier ends up coming across as a loving father figure to him and it results some of the best scenes in the game.
