@High Speed Indeed: No one is an expert. No one like all the same stuff. But I know I don't like Pink Floyd. It's boring music to me.

@Mit: So? As long as it's fun to play, who cares about the eye candy?
@DREAMCAST: It's always been that way. I remember being in grade 5 and people saying that the Master System was better than the NES (which I think it was), because it had better graphics, ignoring the plethora of games for the NES compared to the SMS. There were always letters in GamePro and EGM in the 90s talking…
@NeoSkyte: Aren't they just more or less overseeing it? The magazines and sites that have info on the game list only Dimps as the developers.
So they use the original Sonic model on the loading pages (loading for a Downloadable game?), but use the faggy skinny Sonic in the game. Okay then. Not a huge deal I suppose.
Ah, no.
@High Speed Indeed: Hardly.

I am REALLY loving the art style they are using in this game. Absolutely fantastic. I'll take something like this over something photorealistic any day.
@kelbear: You only see thaat now? It's been mentioned since the game was first announced :P
Boring first person shooter genre aside, score yet another victory for the print magazine over the web.
@battra92: I also forgot the new Scribblenauts game.
@Digital Jam: It's not that they look wonky, but that they appear to be more apartments than houses. I like having a house with a yard, so living in a house that is on top of another house, with no yard, wouldn't b for me :)
@GodhandX: I own all three consoles, thank you.
@Slagathorian: You mean the Nathan Drake with the messed up eyes? I am sure he does, even though he's a fictional character and cannot speak.
I don't see what the appeal is of the graphics in Heavy Rain and similar games. Any character modeled to look real ends up looking creepy. The technology isn't there for photorealistic characters in games yet. And even if it was, why would you want that. You see people everyday (for those of you who leave their…
