It's odd that Apple would allow the free Zinio app to offer magazine subscriptions, but then not all them in iTunes. I have discounted subscriptions to The Economist, National Geographic, Popular Mechanics, and McLean's on my iPad.

Bumper didn't work well for me. Apple store employee actually told me that the bumper doesn't completely fix the problem. I still had some some, but less, signal degradation with bumper on.

The conspiracy theorist in me has me thinking that buried in the Terms and Conditions, by accepting a free bumper case, you are also officially opting out of any recall that may take place when the problem is actually fixed. The manager at an Apple store suggested that there may be a re-call at some point.

One thing T-mobile has going for it is their phones run UMA at no charge. That means any time a phone is in an open hotspot, the call is transferred off of T-mobile's network. Maybe easing the strain of the iPhone.

@klinquist: Agreed. I sold two 3Gs, a white one for $290 and a black one for $250 on Craigslist. It more than paid for the Iphone 4 that I plan to return because I can't make calls while holding it in my hand.

All you need to do is put a fake, or borrowed 'secondary' billing address on your card. I do this, and I can buy applications too. It worked great while I was living in Asia and Europe for the few years.
